The Elkford Public Library is pleased to announce that it now has an Online Catalogue. By logging in to the WebOpac you are able to search for an item and find out if it is in. By using the details link you can reserve or hold items. Using "My Account" you can renew items you already have signed out, as long as they are not overdue. An item can be renewed twice but can't be renewed if there is a reserve on it. To use "My Account" enter your Library barcode as username and your last name as the password. Lending Policy
- 10 items per membership card
- 3 cassette/video/talking books maximum
- 3 week loan period
- New books cannot be renewed
- Reference material may not be signed out
Renewals
- Items, except for new books, may be renewed 2 times unless they have a reserve on them.
- Renewals may be made in person or by phone. For quickest service please have patron and/or item barcodes ready.
Fines
- 10¢ per day per item to a maximum of $2.00 per item.
- Damaged or lost material
will be assessed at the library replacement cost.
Services

Interlibrary loans is a service provided by the library to our patrons who are looking for a title or subject that we do not have in our collection. |

Through this service we make available any book within the province. It usually takes a week to 10 days to fill a request. |

Requests for new materials (published less than a year ago) cannot be filled. Video and cassette requests cannot be filled. |
|
Patron initiated inter-library loans can now be placed at the library or on the internet if you are online at home. Ask the librarian for details. |
|
Items must be picked up within three days of notification or they will be returned to lending library. If we can't contact you by the third phone call we will return the item. |
